Why Do I Pay Up Front for Transports?
When shipping personally-owned vehicles, our company has customers prepay the entire amount by credit or debit card for very specific reasons. In addition to the convenience of paying with a credit card, pre-paying provides another layer of protection for you, the consumer.
In the unlikely event that any damage occurs during transit, we (as a company) are able to withhold payment to the driver until that damage claim is fully resolved. As an individual consumer, if you do not pay, you do not receive your vehicle.
Our drivers take great care to avoid it and damage is rare but it does happen from time to time. Holding the pay until a damage claim is successfully resolved speeds the process up immensely.
