Carriers must provide cargo insurance for the loads they transport, which Team Alex and our dispatch team verifies before every transport. This insurance covers your vehicle during transit for things like driver negligence, accidents and faulty equipment. Your own vehicle insurance covers anything insurance deems an “Act of God,” such as flying debris, weather and so forth.
Team Alex’s parent company, ShipYourCarNow, carries contingent cargo insurance, in the unlikely event of a total loss. Although very rare, it can happen and we want you to know that your vehicle is well-covered during shipping.
